These chew strips look like meat, taste at least just as delicious, but consist solely of fresh insect larvae and not just a small percentage of insect larvae or insect meal. The snacks smell deliciously nutty and are eagerly eaten by every dog.

The carefully selected insect larvae are bred in special farms. The larvae primarily feed on plant by-products from food production, consume very little water, and grow within a few days. The larvae are chopped and shaped, and then gently air-dried. That's it. No additives, preservatives, insect meals, or other fillers.

Insect larvae contain high-quality protein, a high proportion of unsaturated fatty acids, vitamins, and minerals such as copper, iron, magnesium, manganese, selenium, and zinc. They are therefore good nutrient suppliers, nutritious, and healthy.

The pumpkin fillet "On Top" is made from market-fresh pumpkins with gentle air drying. They are rich in antioxidants that counteract the formation of free radicals. The potassium contained helps regulate fluid balance, while vitamin B6 makes an important contribution to blood formation and the nervous system. Finally, magnesium in the pumpkin regulates electrolyte and water balance in the body and ensures bone stability.

The SANADOG insect chew strips with pumpkin are made with a splash of natural guar gum. This comes from the seeds of the tree Cyamopsis, which is native to India. Guar binds the crushed larvae and carrots, providing the soft and chewy consistency of the chew strip that dogs love so much.
