Our little pack: Eva, Roy&Monty and I

Eve is the first woman on Earth andEvais my first dog. She is the beginning of everything – the start of my great love for dogs. Eva will always be in my heart.

MontyandRoyare the most valuable and irreplaceable members of our team. They have laid the foundation for our company. They are the true idea generators, the main motivators, and of course, the most important taste testers.

Roy and Monty are very different, but they also have a lot in common. Both became part of our family on the same day. Both have gone through a difficult phase in life – a very difficult one. This naturally led to serious psychological and physical problems. We have worked intensively on their behavioral issues. It was a big challenge, even for experienced dog trainers. That’s why I decided to immerse myself in cynology and successfully completed the training to become a service dog instructor.

At the same time, I was never happy with the thought of feeding my favorites classic dry or canned foods. It never seemed to me like truly healthy nutrition. The constant digestive problems with Roy and the occasional issues with Monty led me to the decision: Something has to change.
We switched from classic, extruded food to more natural, less processed products. But the thought that this still wasn't really species-appropriate lingered in my mind. And one day we tried BARF. From that moment on, our lives were divided into a "Before" and an "After."

No more digestive problems, no more stool eating, no more dull coats, no more parasites. Roy's anemia disappeared, Monty's mysterious reverse sneezing – which had troubled her greatly and could not be explained by veterinarians – was almost completely eliminated. Her behavior also became calmer. The changes have deeply impressed me. And the anticipation with which they wait for their filled bowls, how enjoyably they eat!.. Watching this is a huge joy for me. No more questionable, unnecessary, and hard-to-digest ingredients in the bowls and bodies of my beloved furry friends – only fresh, natural, species-appropriate food. Why didn't I do this sooner?

With each passing day, my enthusiasm and knowledge about BARF grew. During my training as a service dog instructor, I took a course on dog and cat nutrition. My thirst for knowledge knows no pause: after completing one course, I move on to the next. After each seminar I attend, I immediately look for the next one. I always stay updated on new studies related to raw feeding and follow the work of leading experts in the field of animal nutrition. I take their valuable experience to deepen my own knowledge in the area of the well-being of dogs and cats.

I love engaging with all aspects of the lives of our four-legged friends – from anatomy and physiology to behavior and psychology. I will never stop learning how humans can influence the health and life of their animals through education, care, and nutrition – because dogs are particularly dear to me.

My accumulated experience, knowledge, and love for BARF led me to the conclusion: I want to make BARF more well-known and accessible in my region. Thus, BeBARF was born. For over a year, my key assistants, Roy and Monty, tested various products from Switzerland and Germany.
